A Little Bit About Me...

Hi! I’m Jenn, creator and author behind Those Lil’ Rascals.

I live with my family in a little town outside of Ottawa, Ontario.

I’m married to a pretty special man named Connor, and we have three beautiful and crazy rascals named Evelyn, Nathan, and Robyn (as well as our fur-baby, Hershey).

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator who currently works for a not-for-profit organization here in Ottawa. I have been working in the daycare setting for six years now; infants to school agers and everything in between.

​

I started this blog as a creative outlet to share my passions, inspirations, and stories that I wish I saw when I was at the beginning of my mom journey. I want you to feel like you’re speaking with a girlfriend during a playdate and we’re talking over hot drinks with our kiddos screeching past us, playing like kids do.

I want this to be a space where we can celebrate motherhood and all of its amazingness, while also sharing the hardships and loneliness that can come along with it. I want you to have a place where you can find commonality and joy, and I can share my knowledge as an educator, a mother, and a friend.

When I’m not on the blog, you can probably find me soaking up time with my sweeties, avoiding the dishes, and indulging in chocolate ice cream and crime docs.
